What does a title sequence look like?

This title sequence from brick creates a dark mood which automatically places the audience into the world of the film and focuses them. extreme close ups leave the audience not being able to see every thing clearly then one or two long range shots. The longs shots are used to create clues for later in the movie and help the audience put the shots together and make some sense out of it like in the mood board the one long shot brings all of the other shots together. My opening sequence genre is thriller like Brick so its fits with my the ideas and aims for my genre with a dark and scary atmosphere created violence
